This open call welcomes individuals and groups working at the intersection of dance, movement, and film. It is designed for:

• Palestinian artists from performing arts and visual arts disciplines, including dancers, choreographers, and filmmakers.

• International artists whose work explores Palestinian bodies, movement, and narratives through film and performance.

Four selected projects will each receive a grant of $3,000 to support the creation of their dance films. The grant will be disbursed in two payments:

• First payment: $2,000 – Issued upon signing the contract.

• Second payment: $1,000 – Issued after submission of the final film, along with required invoices and reports.

• November 5–20, 2025 – The Palestinian Movement Film Festival
  

Short films, dance films, and documentaries that explore Palestinian bodies and movement will have the opportunity to be showcased in multiple international and virtual screenings.

A selection of 7–10 projects will be made based on the strength of the application and the suitability of the film’s duration and content.

We invite venues, cultural spaces, cafés, and alternative spaces worldwide to participate in hosting and screening the festival’s films. This is an opportunity to bring the Palestinian Movement Film Festival to local audiences through in-person screenings.

All applications submitted by the deadline will be screened to ensure they meet eligibility criteria and fulfill the application requirements, including the complete submission of the application form and all required supporting documents.

Applications that meet these requirements will be forwarded to a three-member independent jury, who will assess them based on the following criteria:

• Quality and relevance of the project

• Originality of the concept

• Practicability of the proposed budget

• Feasibility of completing the project within the given timeline
